iMCA's Server Graphic User Interface (GUI) has a logical and intuitive layout and its dimensions, menus, icons and windows adapt to whatever device you wish to use for access - whether it iMCA Server on iPhone, iPAD, PC, PDA, tablet, touch screen LCD, mobile phone, iPhone, iPod Touch, etc. Because iMCA Server is entirely web based, it requires no other software components such as DLLs, ActiveX etc to function. If tailored solutions are required, iMCA can even use public information portals (meteorology for example) or RSS feeds as triggers for control and automation scenarios.
With iMCA Software, you can easily create, save and execute any number of monitoring, control or automation scenarios, and you can do this from within or around your premises, or from anywhere in the world where you can access the web.
Aspects such as ease of installation, stability, consistency of look and feel, efficiency of use and ease of learning were considerations constantly at the forefront during development of iMCA. For example, tremendous effort has gone into enabling near real time state changes of objects on the GUI when the user interacts with them without any evidence of page refresh, and close to real-time update of information on the GUI again without any evidence of page refresh, giving the impression of a persistent connection between the application and the network. In other words, iMCA Controller successfully delivers the benefits of a web-based application (such as client-independence and OS-independence) together with the behaviors and responsiveness traditionally associated with a thick-client application.
The iMCA Controller's software consists of a number of pre-configured modules needed for delivering and managing the functionality of the system:
BASE MODULE (MONITOR & CONTROL): Main module controlling all foundation elements of the iMCA System including: User/Access Terminal Manager, iMCA Site Manager, Bookmarks Manager, Advanced Security Manager and Logs/Statistics Manager. It also includes the Default graphic user interface of the iMCA System (iMCA DGUI) for user interaction with the system. Based on the license chosen, the look and feel of the iMCA DGUI can be customized to your requirements. The iMCA DGUI has a logical and intuitive layout and its dimensions, menus, icons and windows adapt to whatever device you wish to use for access – whether it be PC, PDA, tablet, touch screen LCD, mobile phone, iPhone, iPod Touch, etc. It requires no other software components such as dlls, ActiveX etc to function.
AUTOMATION MODULE (AUTOMATE): Required for design and management of automation scenarios triggered from sensor and time inputs
VIDEO MODULE (MONITOR): Required for video snapshots streaming from FTP or Direct "Snapshots Pull Access" enabled CCTV cameras, DVRs and Video Servers.
